It was brought to my attention that the way the creatures where hang into each other looks similar to the similar to the "Nüwa and Fuxi" ilustrations from early Eastern mytholgy *quote from Wikipedia: nǚwā, (also Nügua) is a mythological character with a snake body and a human head, best known for creating mankind and repairing the walls of heaven.
Fu -Xi is a culture hero reputed to be the inventor of writing, fishing, and trapping.
Its interresting for me, because i havn´t knew this all before!
Ideally Fu -Xi would be male, but i refer to this character with the fish in her hand as VERY fitting...*
