Inspired by H.P.Lovecraft, this is my rendition of a seductive Cthulhu empress. Also this is a part of another series i´m working on since a few years, called "transgenetic metahuman" Illustrations of human species that is crossed with either plants, animals, or insects to survive on another planet.
Call it the next step of evolution.

Inspired by "Michael Parkes" and done for Francesco De�Isa�s p0rnsaints.org -project,
This one was an interesting collaboration.
Model is the beautiful Charlotte Stokely.

Yesterday i was inspired by some great caricature -pros like Jason Seiler, so i was highly motivated to get my hand on that stuff again, what a fun!

a part of a new series i�m working on, FG is synonymous for Fantasio Girls, a not so serious ironic answer to SG, suicide girls;-)

I�m open for collaborations with photographers, models, and or 3d-artists and publishers on this subject matter, as it should be about 50-100 images over the next few years.

the main subject is always a kinda pin-up, even if this picture is just a more teasing one, but you get the idea.

A portrait and caricature - style - study that somehow developed to look like "Morticia" from the Munsters, a kind of happy accident - like with pencil drawings it happens sometimes that a random sketch develops to a familar looking face...strange.

We are in the process to do some more collaborations, and work together for portrait commissions, so this was a test to see if it make sense at all...

When worlds - "collide" - describes with a little irony a counterpart to the typical fantasy genre seen and known on dA and elsewhere;-)
A Ninja from above and a somehow armed Amazon-queen(?) what about that matter? i don�t know either, but i know they�re having fun, at least as much as i had while doing this piece

As for the stats, this piece is a mixed digital one, took me about 10 hours for the compositing and another 25 hours for the painting!
Dimensions are: 7000X8000 X 300dpi @ photoshop 7 and wacom graphire(damn i need a cintiq:P)

This Mixed media work was actually created like my first "stillife artwork" from 2003.
My plastersculpture "Stillife 2005" was reference for this futuristic expression of a cold machine face.
Hands on modelling, digital photography and finally digital painting skills, went into this creative process to enrich the cold materia with life.

That was a really thankful work, as no background creation was needed, just the plain concept of the Thrilled looking clown with that diabolical grin, i like diabolical grins;-)

Another commissioned piece used for interieur design of the recent german publication from Jonathan Barnes: the kingdom of Monsters.
I like these characters somehow, they are always floating a little over the ground, use knifes like a scalpel and always hang out in that school - uniform...

I know this piece looks similar to some John Foster or Ashley Wood, but it was an interesting style study, the sketch has took me about 5-10 minutes, the drawing/coloring was done in 2 hrs.

I�m not into typical Anthropomorph paintings, but i like to mix plants with man, man with machine, so this is an animal / woman kind of idea that i really like.
Done with some help of Poser, some Photo -refs and a lot studying our cats.

A personal piece and contribution to Francesco D�Isa �s pornsaint -project.
Model is Lauren Kain and Shay Lynn.

It was brought to my attention that the way the creatures where hang into each other looks similar to the similar to the "N�wa and Fuxi" ilustrations from early Eastern mytholgy *quote from Wikipedia: nǚwā, (also N�gua) is a mythological character with a snake body and a human head, best known for creating mankind and repairing the walls of heaven.
Fu -Xi is a culture hero reputed to be the inventor of writing, fishing, and trapping.
Its interresting for me, because i havn�t knew this all before!
Ideally Fu -Xi would be male, but i refer to this character with the fish in her hand as VERY fitting...*

This one isn�t easy to categorize, because its composition is entirely done in photoshop 7, but the whole piece was then printed out onto small pieces of special paper to be stuck on a 100X70cm board, which was then overpainted with Acrylics and tempera - mainly the red parts and the complete background.

The symbolism behind it is rather complex, but something that can tell a story and i really would like to hear from you, because everyone should see it different and think about it.

From the technical point of view it should be a mark of whats possible to do with digital media combined with traditional media.

This is almost a tribute to all of my art-heroes, and was the diploma work -representation to graduate from my artschool.

major inspiration comes from Dave mcKean, Dal�, bittertaste(from DA), Brom...

This starts off as a Sketch and is actually a Study for another / upcoming piece i have in mind - To tweaken up my porfolio for tcg - related themes. The head was done with NSP-clay, physically airbrushed, Photographed and worked over in Photoshop to breathe live in this creature - i just wanted to make it look like a bold dragon and it was so fun to do that i decided to work it out more as a standalone piece.

Its not a commercial illustration, but i had the intention to illustrate my brothers dog, as a birthday present(!)
And without a doubt, this image reflects all the characteristics of a pug(at least his)
The model reference was a bit blurred photo from my brothers dog, the rest is roughly created in photoshop.
The whole workout with acrylics in painter classic and wacom graphire 3.

...the box of pandora, with all its diseases - it needs a strong equilibrium of mind over matter,to not end up with harmful consequences...

Actually this piece was intended for beeing a part of an art-calendar(Deviantart) which never came out for some reasons.
As a central theme i caught up with the myth and legends, and this surreal explanation is still my point of view.

I think its my very own style put into shape, a little bit inspired by Klimt and Brom, but what i wanted to achieve was an art-nouveau styled cyberspace fantasy - in which pepper feels and act like a pin-up queen.
